But here's the thing: ordering with Cheerful Crafthouse is designed to be the easiest, most enjoyable part of homecoming prep. 🤠✨

Step 1: Browse the Packages & Get Inspired 🌼

  • Deluxe (Underclassmen) — our most popular package

  • Supreme (Underclassmen/Seniors) — a bold statement piece

Step 2: Book a Consultation (Optional but Highly Recommended!) 💬


If you have a vision in mind — or no idea where to start — our $35 consultation is the perfect next move. Here's how it works:


  • 30 minutes, one-on-one with Mindy

  • We talk through your student's style, school, activities, and personality

  • We help you choose the right package, colors, and add-ons

  • We answer every question you have (no such thing as too many!)

  • The $35 fee goes directly toward your order — so it's basically free

Step 3: Place Your Order 📋


Once you know what you want, placing your order is easy — 99% of orders are processed right through our website.


Here's what you'll do:

  1. Select your package and any add-ons you'd like

  2. Fill in your customization details — student name, school, colors, activities, and any special requests

  3. Choose your payment method — we accept card, PayPal

  4. Submit your order and you're officially in!


You'll receive a confirmation once your order is in our system, and from there, we get to work! 🎨


Important: Orders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. When we're full for the season, we close the calendar — so ordering early is always the smart move! Be sure to check the Availability Calendar prior to ordering to make sure we can dedicate proper time to making your mum or garter for the week needed. Items order on a limited or sold out week without prior approval will be canceled and refunded.

Step 4: The 24-Hour Window ⏰


After placing your order, you have a 24-hour cancellation window if you change your mind. After that window closes, we begin gathering your materials and your spot is locked in.


This is also the best time to double-check your customization details — names, school colors, activity selections, and any special notes. Once personalization begins, changes may not be possible, so we want to make sure everything is perfect from the start!

Step 5: We Get to Work! 🛠️


This is the fun part — for us, at least! Once your 24-hour window closes, we:


  • Print your order form and gather your materials

  • Order any personalized items (custom ribbons, acrylic cutouts, specialty trinkets)

  • Handcraft your mum from start to finish — every single ribbon, flower, and trinket placed with care

  • Inspect every detail — colors, spelling, attachments, lights, and structure


Every Cheerful Crafthouse mum goes through a thorough quality check before it ever leaves our hands. Your student deserves nothing less. 💙


Step 6: Pickup Day! 🎉


Most mums are ready for pickup the Sunday before homecoming week, between 3:00–8:30 PM in the DFW area.


Here's what to expect:

  • You'll receive a pickup text notification when your mum is ready

  • Schedule your 15-minute pickup slot — we keep things organized and on time so you're never waiting around

  • Inspect your mum at pickup — we want you to love it! If anything looks off, tell us right then and we'll make it right if possible

  • Take your mum home, snap a thousand photos, and get HYPED for homecoming 🎀🤠


Heads up: Mums and garters are pickup only in Bedford, TX. (we do not ship mums/garters at this time).

Step 7: Show It Off! 📸


The best part of the whole process — watching your student walk into homecoming wearing something made just for them. 🥹✨


We LOVE seeing our mums out in the wild! Tag us on social media with #CheerfulCrafthouse and show us your homecoming looks. With your permission, we may even feature your student on our page — because your mum deserves to be celebrated!


Frequently Asked Questions


How far in advance should I order?

As early as possible — ideally by July 15th to take advantage of bundle savings and maximum customization options. We take orders year-round until spots are filled.


Can I make changes after I order?

Minor details can sometimes be adjusted in the early stages, but personalized items cannot be changed once ordered. Always double-check your details at submission!


What if I need a rush order?

Orders placed within 14 days of your homecoming event are subject to a rush fee. We'll always do our best to accommodate — but early ordering avoids this entirely!


Do you offer payment plans?

Payment plans are available from Feb 1 - July 31st — Check out this question on our FAQ’s Page to see the breakdown for when payments are due.


Can I order a matching garter?

Absolutely! Order your Deluxe or Supreme Garter alongside a matching mum by July 15th and save 25% on the garter. 💙
